While playing the game, hold R2 for several seconds to return to the last checkpoint.
Defeating Radec
Radec is difficult to kill, especially if you are attempting to get the "Demonslayer" trophy for killing him in under twenty minutes. Do not worry about him until you get the cutscene where he says "I guess you want to make it personal!" In the beginning he will send hordes of Helgast troops at you. Just dig in, and kill them all. You will be on the ground floor for about three waves of troops. Then the doors on the side will open, allowing you to get to the balcony. Note: Ammunition is limited on the balcony; make your shots count. When you reach the balcony, there will be two flamethrower Helagst waiting. Afterwards, there will be two waves of infantry then a mixed group of infantry and knife wielding Helgast officers. Be careful because when you are on the balcony they will come up from both sides. Take care of them first, then focus on the floor troops. After this wave there will be RPG troops on the far wall of the room. Take them out, then go back to the floor troops. After about six waves, there will be another cutscene of Radec. You will now be back on the ground level. Radec will now phase in and out of invisibility, and appear beside you and try to knife you. Keep moving and shooting at him as he shows himself. After hitting him enough times, he will retreat to the stairs in front of you. Keep shooting him until he dies.
After Radec makes the comment about "making it personal", there will be waves of troops that keep appearing. There is no real strategy here other than "run and gun". When it gets down to just you and Radec, and he keeps turning invisible, stock up on ammunition (rifle recommended). Go up to the balcony, and put your back in a corner. Radec will not be able to sneak up on you. You only have to cover the left and right. You will hear him appear and see a flash of light to indicate which direction he is coming from. Occasionally he will appear on the ground floor. Peek over the rail and shoot him a few times, then get back to the corner. After a short while he will appear on the stairs. Keep shooting him until he dies.

When you cross the Salamun Bridge and lower it for the rest of your squad to cross, take the sniper rifle on the weapons rack. Walk out the door, but do not advance further down the bridge. Above the road is a turret with a gunner. Shoot him in the head, and wait a few seconds. Someone will replace him. Keep shooting them in the head until you get the "Melonpopper" trophy.

Defeating Guardians
To easily kill the Guardians you fight later in the game, once you kill one, take the gold crossbow it drops, and use it on the others to kill them much quicker than your normal guns.
Defeating Lazarevic
To defeat Lazarevic, you must lure him near the volatile blue sap throughout the level. When he is within range, shoot the sap to cause it to explode.
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune references
When you are prompted to view your journal by pressing Select, look for the picture labeled "Angry Eddy". Eddy was one of Drake's enemies from Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Additionally, one of the unlockable guns in Single Player mode is a gun used by Angry Eddy.

Breaking lock-ons (WIthout chaff)
Ok, this will seriously break every lock-on an enemy gets without using chaff. All you have to do is hold both L2 and R2, then move both analog sticks around, mostly in the same directions. If you do it right, you can dodge missles without even changing your direction much!

When you pick up mines make sure you throw them all on the ground before you die. Mines are an extremely easy way to get kills because they stay in place throughout the match so you get a kill everytime someone steps on one of your mines.
Place them in grass in high traffic areas for maximum effect.

Step 1. First grab some mines
Step 2. Get in a Warhawk and switch your weapon to the chaff grenades.
Step 3. Get to the enemy base as fast as you can, in a event of missiles locking on to you, use chaff grenades to avoid.
Step 4. Go to enemy flag and place mines around it.
Step 5. Go back and repeat as you rack up kills because most people won't expect enemy mines to be in their base.
Also effective to place them on Warhawks and tanks in the enemy base.

Easy Tank Kills
This one is different first get some mines and go to a tank get in it and drive a little bit backwards. Get out and place two mines right in front of it. Get back in the tank and drive over them and make sure you don't turn the turrent or body at all or they might know what your doing. So when someone trys to get in Boom!!! they are dead.

Escaping Missiles locked on.
Apart from the obvious Chaff to escape a missile there are other ways.
When you get the missile lock warning hit R2 twice to boost and at the same time enter a vertical climb. During the climb pull back on the right analogue stick to do a looping.
This usually causes the missile to lose track of you.

Good points for non-noobs- (Map)
Alright, for this to work, it's best if you have some skilled friends or a good clan. My clan ONLY does this map, and I get over 1500 points a day.
______________CLOSE CORRIDORS- ARCHIPELAGO!______________ It rocks! It's small, so there's always action. You're never running around trying to find stuff or enemies, and you can get lots more kills per game. (Good for Kill death ratio) I have played this map almost 700 times, and the other maps no more than 15 each. After lots of practice here, you can get over 100 points and 35 kills a game. Again, this works best if you get into a good clan that does this map a lot.
I got to Command Srg. (25,000 points) in one month because of this place!

Killing the Flag Carrier on the wooden beam in the Bunker.
You may have noticed that sometimes when both teams have the flag the Flag Carrier runs and hides on top of the wooden beams in the little concrete bunker. This makes them extremely hard to kill as the moment you enter the bunker they throw a grenade at you or fire a rocket launcher.
To kill these guys you need to be smart.
First get some mines. Head to the bunker and throw mines under the beam that the flag carrier is on top of. Then shoot the mines. The blast radius kills the flag carrier.
You don't even need to destroy the mines yourself. The bunker is so small that there is nowhere the flag carrier can go to escape the blast. Someone from their team is bound to step on the mine too so it's a guaranteed kill.

Lock-On Information
When a Missile or Swarm Missiles are locked on to you there are bits of information on-screen most would not know about.
- The Top Red Bar shows how close you are to breaking the lock. The bigger the bar, the closer you are to breaking the lock.
- The Blinking Dots on the bottom shows how many missiles are on your tail.

Mine trick with Warhawk
OK
First you know the jeep suicidal with the mines when you run into the base and then BOOM!? Yay of course you do! Ok, get some mines and put them all over a Warhawk. Then get in the Warhawk (before anybody takes it) and press O (while in the warhawk don't get shot at all!), go to a large spot with a whole lot of bad guys and get out of it. Once they get close to it shoot a mine with a rocket launcher.

Have you noticed when you become 1st class airman that it can be annoying and hard to get warhawk recruiting?? And you really wanna rank up? Well I have a simple idea.
Step 1: join a CTF game in eucadia. Always eucadia. Map layout has to be where theres only the bridge separating the bases I thinks its called Island Battle.
Step2: Check which team in doing very well in the sky if your not on that team change to that team this makes it a lot easier.
Step3: Find a tow missile their usually easy to find in this map layout and are always in the same place (they are purple with a plane icon in the middle).
Step4: hover around the mountain behind your enemys base control the tow missile and kill a person. Then a person in a vehicle.
Step5: stay in the air for a while (4 mins exactly) since you team is doing well in the sky it will make it easier to live longer.
step6: repeat step 4 as you will need warhawk recruiting twice if you haven't gotten it once yet.

Reloading
Not many people know this tip but reloading is extremely important especially in a Flak Turret or Jeep Machine Gun Turret.
To reload a Troop weapon such as Rifle (right on D-Pad) simply reselect it. In other words press right on the D-Pad to reload.
To reload a turret such as Flak Turret and Jeep Machine Gun turret press any directional button on the D-Pad.
Vital if you sense danger and your flak cannon is half empty.

stealth kill
A good way to get a stealth kill is to sit on a jeep (right on top of the passenger seat)get a rocket launcher or a really good weapon to use,crouch down on top of the passenger seat.wait till' somebody comes by and wait a second because they probably look around (they probably can't see you)and when there not looking,hop off the Jeep and fire away!(you could probably sneak up behind them when there not looking and knife them to). To get the best results, be on the Chernovans but the Eucadian are good to. I tested the cheat and got pretty much everybody on the opposite team. Preferred map would be Sky Capitol or any map really.

Tell And Tank
First you need a Blu Tooth head set device. Then tell the people on your team to get tanks. Go to the base closest to the enemy's home base (CTF works best.) While someone grabs the flag, shoot cars that try to chase the flag carrier. Note: load up on max sniper shots and air strikes, you'll need them for people who get the air strike on you.

TOW Missiles
Want to know how to use the TOW missle for all it can. When you find it, it is usually in a good hiding spot. Once you get it get to a really good hiding spot. Usualy around the ocean and behind a mountain. Get low and hover just above the water. Shoot your TOW missile and find a enemy to take him down.

what you'll need- a sniper rifle with at least 3 rounds, a good sniping spot, and a enemy base with a warhawk... firstly.. shoot the enemy warhawk twice, hover the cross over the warhawk... wait for a stupid enemy to get in and shoot the warhawk again (you have to be quick), rinse and repeat

Ok, this will seriously break every lock-on an enemy gets without using chaff. All you have to do is hold both L2 and R2, then move both analog sticks around, mostly in the same directions. If you do it right, you can dodge missles without even changing your direction much!

Tell And Tank
First you need a Blu Tooth head set device. Then tell the people on your team to get tanks. Go to the base closest to the enemy's home base (CTF works best.) While someone grabs the flag, shoot cars that try to chase the flag carrier. Note: load up on max sniper shots and air strikes, you'll need them for people who get the air strike on you.

TOW Missiles
Want to know how to use the TOW missle for all it can. When you find it, it is usually in a good hiding spot. Once you get it get to a really good hiding spot. Usualy around the ocean and behind a mountain. Get low and hover just above the water. Shoot your TOW missile and find a enemy to take him down.

Badlands capture the flag
You know how theres that wreckage to the entrance of the flag? Well thank god for it cause its the best hideout for mines. First set two mines on the sides of the wreckage and if you have time set two more under the pile of rocks simple as that!

how to snipe a warhawk
what you'll need- a sniper rifle with at least 3 rounds, a good sniping spot, and a enemy base with a warhawk... firstly.. shoot the enemy warhawk twice, hover the cross over the warhawk... wait for a stupid enemy to get in and shoot the warhawk again (you have to be quick), rinse and repeat

Save Your Base (CTF)
Put loads of mines down where the enterances are to the flag you'll get loads of base defence!
